Disqus
There are a variety of plugins available to bloggers. Many of them are free and very useful. I’ve mentioned my favorite, the Editorial Calendar Plugin . Today I would like to tell you about another of my favorites, the Disqus Comment System. Disqus makes blog commenting more like a conversation. What I love about it is that it makes approving and responding to blog comments incredibly simple, especially for someone like me that is almost always connected to email. I receive an email when someone posts a comment. I can then respond to the email either to mark the comment as spam, approve, delete or respond to the comment. It’s not necessary to log into my site to approve comments which makes the process much simpler and faster. It’s also useful to those of you that don’t have your own blog but like to comment on others. You can log into your Disqus account and see where you’ve commented. If you have a blog, I highly recommend trying out Disqus. It’s available for all the major blogging platforms.
